Nakaiyiza Grace elected the new guild president of African Rural University 2018/2019.
To mark the one week of campaign for the different Guild leadership positions of African Rural University. yesterday 13th/May/2019, the students of African Rural University elected the new Guild president and other cabinet ministers.
Nakaiyiza Grace won her fellow contestant Assimire Oliver with 58.1% : 41.9% for the Guild Presidenc.
Makune Ahumuza won with 74.2% against Nangobi Jackline with 25.8% for Vice Guild Presidency.
Kyalisiima Malita won her counterpart Areso Doreen with 61.3%:38.7%.
4 positions had sole candidates who all managed to be voted by all the ARU students accruing 100% of votes as shown below.

Kobusinge Mugisa for Education, Games and Sports Ministry
Kemigisa Penina for Foreign Affairs Minister
Bahire Julia for faculty representative
Meanwhile two other positions as listed below remained vacant
